JFD Brokers Taps Nikola Marinov as Head of Marketing

Multi-regulated online trading provider JFD Brokers Ltd has made a new appointment to its team in Bulgaria, appointing Nikola Marinov as its newest Head of Marketing with immediate effect, Finance Magnates has learned.

A former Marketing Manager at Silicon Valley company Propy, Mr. Marinov will be tasked with steering the broker’s global marketing functions across its different brands JFD Brokers / JFD Prime / JFD Wealth. This includes many responsibilities ranging from the execution of the company’s brand strategy to its product marketing efforts, corporate communications, and digital marketing agenda.

Previously, Marinov held a variety of senior positions including roles in product management, customer acquisition, and sales funnel optimization.

He joins JFD with over 15 years of experience in the financial services space, having recently worked as the marketing director at Deltastock AD, a Sofia-based Forex and CFD broker.

During his tenure with the Bulgarian firm, he was in charge of marketing budgets, managing a team of PPC, social media, copywriting and design specialists. Marinov also supervised Deltastock’s acquisition and activation campaigns across all channels, researching and implementing new strategies and approaches.

Additional stops also include a stint as the marketing director for DF Markets (Delta Financial Markets Ltd.), which operates as a CFD and spread betting provider located in London.

JFD secures regulatory thumbs to acquire ACON

Launched in December 2011, JFD Brokers offers various services catering to the needs of different kinds of market segments. The company has recently secured the regulatory approvals up to complete its takeover of the German investment bank ACON, which is headquartered in Munich and also has offices in Frankfurt, London, and Berlin. The deal includes a 51 percent stake with the potential for the acquisition of another 20 percent in the future.

Back in 2017, JFD Brokers was one of the first CySEC -regulated brokers to offer cryptocurrency trading, with access to margin ‎and financing, as well as the ability to take both long and short ‎positions.‎
