The FX sales team at BNY Mellon got a boost at the start of the new year. The company is welcoming experienced FX sales professional hunter Lloyd to its team in New York.
Lloyd has been in FX sales since 2009 when he joined the FX/Macro sales team at Credit Suisse. After leaving the Swiss bank, he joined the Commonwealth Bank as Director of FX Sales to real money and hedge funds clients.
In his new role at BNY Mellon, Lloyd will also be responsible for real money and hedge funds clients. The change was reflected on Lloyd’s LinkedIn profile.

In the meantime, the company’s Head of Spot FX for North America, Robert Sabia, left the firm after 14 years.
BNY Mellon FX Business
The foreign exchange business of BNY Mellon is led by its Custody FX programs. The New York-headquartered bank also offers direct dealing via its FX Desk and eCommerce platforms.
The company has a presence in Currency Administration, FX Payments, spot FX, forwards, swaps and non-deliverable forwards (NDFs).
At a time of growing trade tensions, the rising FX risks are certain to continue driving major market players to attract more talent to its FX desks.
