In his new role, the experienced trader and consultant will be responsible for managing the company's dealings with Mexico.

After receiving his bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin in 2003, Petsche worked as a financial advisor and independent trader for 15 years before founding his own consultancy company, according to information made public on his LinkedIn profile. The company, SharkFin Technologies and Consulting, is a Mexico City-based firm that advises firms that wish to operate in the LATAM region. He worked there for more than four years.

In 2014 he created JournalSqrd, a system which allows traders to record and analyse their trades at a level usually reserved for trading institutions.
