Millennium Management, a New York-based global investment firm, has secured the services of Ghazi Atallah, who joins the group as its newest trader with immediate effect, Finance Magnates has learned.

In his new position at Millenium, Mr. Atallah will be based out of the group’s Singapore office, which will see him transition to the buy-side. Millennium manages assets throughout Europe, the US, and Asia, boasting offices across all three continents. The group has been relatively muted on the hiring front, with Atallah’s hire being the first in H2 2016.
Mr. Atallah joins Millennium from Barclays Investment Bank, having worked for the past four years across a multitude of trading roles. In this capacity he has focused mainly on the foreign exchange (FX) space, including JPY and EUR flow options and exotics. He joined Barclays back in 2012 and since has held such positions as analyst and AVP – FX Flow Options Trader, shifting gears to Singapore in 2015, according to information made public on his Linkedin profile.
