Mastercard announced on Thursday that it has selected JK Khalil, the former VP- Chief of Staff at Barclays, as its new Cluster General Manager for the MENA East region.

In the new position, Khalil will play a pivotal role in the payments company's expansion across the MENA East region including in UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Pakistan and Oman. Khalil is planning to use his broad experience consulting in banking, technology and strategy to boost financial inclusion.

Recently, Finance Magnates learned that Andreas Avgoloupis was promoted to Head of Dealing at FXPRIMUS. According to an update on LinkedIn, he has been working for the company as a Senior Dealer for over nine months and as a Dealer for nearly 10 months.

Prior to his role at FXPRIME, Avgoloupis worked at as a Dealer at TopFX for about four months. Additionally, he was recruited as a Junior Dealer by NBH Markets where he stayed for more than a year.

CMC Markets Strengthens Tech Team by Hiring Kevin McGuinn

CMC Markets (LON: CMCX) hired Kevin McGuinn as its Senior Product Manager, to strengthen its technology team. He has already joined the broker and is situated in London.

Before joining CMC Markets, he grafted at Mortgage Engine, a company that is building AI-based technology for the mortgage industry. He spent three years with the company as the Product and Delivery Manager as well as a Technical Business Analyst.

TP ICAP Names Daniel Fields as Global Broking CEO

At the beginning of the week, TP ICAP announced its appointment of Daniel Fields to Chief Executive Officer of the Global Broking division. He will report directly to Nicolas Breteau, the Group CEO.

Fields is taking over from Andrew Polydor in the role, who will return to focus on TP ICAP’s Energy & Commodities (E&C) business as the CEO.

Finance Magnates learned that Olga Lustsik has left Admirals as a Member of the Management Board. Stated in an update via LinkedIn, she left the role vacant starting Friday 17 June.

Lustsik has been serving Admirals since 2020, where she began as a Product Manager on its Social Trading Platform. Later, she was promoted to Chief Product Officer in November 2020, where she stayed for approximately one year.

Before her role at Admirals, she was employed at Guardtime as a Product Manager. Also, between 2012 and 2018 and based in Estonia, she worked for Proekspert AS as a Product Owner and Financial Consultant.
