Stavros Economides has joined multi-asset liquidity provider Evenox as Managing Partner, joining the firm’s leadership team and shareholder base just over two weeks after leaving Match-Prime Liquidity.

The appointment was announced on the same day that LP Prime unveiled its new name, Evenox. The company said the rebrand would retain the relationships built under the previous brand while shifting to a more direct service model.

“Liquidity cannot be the same for everyone, it has to be built around each client’s needs,” Economides said in announcing the move.

Evenox CEO Marios Antoniou said Economides is also joining the company as a shareholder. He cited the executive’s institutional liquidity experience and knowledge of brokerage operations as additions to the business.

Nearly Seven Years at Match-Prime

Economides left Match-Prime on 28 August after almost seven years with the company. At the time, he said he would remain in the same industry but did not disclose his next employer.

He served as Chief Operating Officer at Match-Prime, the liquidity brand owned and operated by MTG Liquidity Ltd, a Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission-regulated provider for forex and CFDs.

He joined as the business was being built into a regulated liquidity provider in 2020. Before Match-Prime, Economides spent about two and a half years as Head of Dealing Desk at Q8 Trade.

Previously, he held trading and dealing roles at TeleTrade, Capital Index and Markets.com, giving him a career history concentrated on execution, dealing operations and liquidity.

LP Prime was established in 2024 to provide liquidity and prime brokerage services to institutional clients. Under its previous name, the company identified Logan Capital (Pty) Ltd as its South African operating entity and an authorised Financial Services Provider under licence number 52610.

The company’s co-founder, Louay Amhaz, departed in August 2025. LP Prime continued under Antoniou, who had joined as CEO shortly after the provider’s launch.
