Gibson has been working in the FX and Derivatives space for over two decades, during this time, he has held numerous senior management positions, ranging from Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Director, among others.
Gibson to promote brand growth of FinTop Consulting
At FinTop, a recruitment agency specialising in the forex industry, Gibson will play an instrumental part in the company’s strategic growth of its brand. He will advise on matters separate from the day to day operations, FinTop told Finance Magnates.
Although Gibson was formally appointed as Board Advisor in March of 2020, he has been involved in advising FinTop since September of 2017.

Career history
Gibson is currently Managing Director at Vega Markets, a London-based company that specialises in FX and CFD consulting.
Prior to this, Gibson was at FIXI plc, an online FX and CFD broker which shut down back in 2018. During his tenure with the company, Gibson started off as the COO before being promoted to the role of CEO in January of 2018.
Across his career in the FX space, which commenced in 2000 when he joined City Index as a Trader, Gibson has also been the CEO of ELXI Group, a Director at AxiCorp UK, Head of Trading at TradeNext Limited and held positions at ETX Capital and GKFX, among other roles.
