Edgewater Markets recently announced that it has made some changes to its senior technology team in its London office, with the technology provider adding Leo Furze-Waddock and Pietro Carrieri to its team.
Based in London, Furze-Waddock has been recruited to the company as Senior Full Stack Developer. In this role, he will be responsible for the oversight of the development of the firm’s client-side application suite for the region.
Before he was part of Edgewater Markets, Furze-Waddock was employed at Gold Edge, where he was the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) until May 2016, his LinkedIn profile shows.
During the four years in between leaving Gold Edge and joining Edgewater Markets, he was a consultant for several high-profile firms, the statement from Edgewater said on Tuesday. As part of this, he helped the companies develop their personalised web and e-commerce solutions.

Speaking on his new role, Furze-Waddock said in the statement: "Edgewater is an exciting opportunity to innovate, working with some of the most challenging aspects of real-time, high velocity, UX focused, web applications.”
Pietro Carrieri, on the other hand, joins the FX solutions provider as its Senior C++ Developer. In this position, he will focus on the company’s low latency core engine.
Most recently, Carrieri was the Managing Director of Software Development and Quantitative Analyst at Analitica S.R.L. He kicked off his career at McGraw-Hill and earnt his Master’s in Corporate Finance Technology from L’Università di Bologna.
