Joining the FX Options trading solutions provider is Simon “Benny” Lewis, who has been appointed as Head of Interdealer Solutions and Romain Camus who is the Head of Exotic Options at Digital Vega.
Lewis joins Digital Vega after a 20-year-long tenure at Tullett Prebon. There, he helped to build an exotic options desk from scratch, the statement said. At the firm, he was most recently the Global Head of FX Options before retiring in 2016.
Camus, on the other hand, joins Digital Vega from VTB, where was most recently an Executive Director, Head of Foreign Exchange Structuring. During his career, he has managed to acquire 15 years worth of experience in the FX industry, in addition to further roles in both commodities and equities.
Prior to his position at VTB, Camus also worked at well-known financial institutions such as Deutsche Bank, where he worked in FX Structuring, according to his LinkedIn, as well as Goldman Sachs, where he held a similar position.
"Joining Digital Vega was an obvious decision for me, as it has an innovative set of products and an impressive client list, which provides a tremendous foundation of success to build upon. Building and delivering an Exotics and Wealth Management platform will capture the growing volumes in this asset class and satisfy client demand for the increased use of electronic trading solutions," added Camus.
Digital Vega Plans to Add Further Employees
As part of the company’s expansion, Digital Vega has hired two new senior developers and has plans to expand its sales team with two new recruits. Furthermore, to accommodate the expansion, the FX-focused company has moved to new offices in Lombard St in London.

"Digital Vega is already recognised as the leading FX platform for trading vanilla options electronically, and our aim is to build on this success by adding new clients, extending our product coverage to Exotics and Wealth Management Solutions, and launching a unique new solution for the Interdealer market," he continued.
