Cypherpunk Names Jeffrey Gao President & CEO and Tony Guoga Exec. Chairman

Cypherpunk Holdings Inc. (CSE: HODL) announced it has named Jeffrey Gao as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, and Tony Guoga as Executive Chairman, effective from 7^th November 2021.

According to a press release shared with Finance Magnates, Jeffrey Gao, with more than fifteen years of experience in the Fintech Fintech Financial Technology (fintech) is defined as ay technology that is geared towards automating and enhancing the delivery and application of financial services. Guoga will transition to the active role of Executive Chairman. During his time as CEO, Guoga was exceptional and displayed a dedicated commitment to developing Cypherpunk. As Executive Chairman, he continues to play a vital role in the company. Additionally, he will chair the Board of Directors, act as an advisor and assist in shaping Cypherpunk’s long-term strategy. Moreover, he will continue to represent Cypherpunk globally with key stakeholders in crypto and continue as its brand ambassador.

A Glance at Gao

In April 2021, Gao became known to Cypherpunk Holdings as an adviser to its Investment Committee. Presently, he is a Director at Zinq Pty Ltd in Australia and a Lecturer at Kaplan Business School.

Before this, Kaplan Professional employed Gao as an Assessor from July 2019. Prior to Kaplan, he joined the ranks of Shroogal where he fulfilled his role as an Engineer, Independent Contractor and a Financial Engineer & Analyst over a three year period, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Also, United Energy and Multinet Gas recruited Gao first as an Engineer in late 2014. Then, after about five months he became an Independent Contractor for the next eighteen months. Further, he completed a very short stint at Wilson Transformer Company as an Engineer.

In June 2013, he joined CETEC PTY LTD as a Data Analyst for a little short of a year. Late 2009, he served TRU Energy as a Data Analyst for around two and a half years. In addition, Deutsche Bank took him on as a Research Intern (Global Investments) in December 2006.

Originally, Gao founded Focus Tuition back in 2003, which he continued working on for the next eighteen years. He provided study support to VCE and IB students in maths, the physical sciences, English and literature. Also, he assisted undergraduate and postgraduate students studying commerce/business, mathematics and engineering courses. Finally, he gave guidance and intensive preparatory services for educational exams.
