Cboe Hires Adam Inzirillo to Head Equities Trading Division

Inzirillo spent the past ten years in senior roles at BAML

Exchange operator Cboe Global Markets announced a new addition to its equities division’s personnel this Thursday.

The Chicago-based firm confirmed that Adam Inzirillo has joined the company as senior vice president and head of US equities. Inzirillo will be working from the group’s New York office.

In a statement, Cboe said that the new executive would be responsible for overseeing product development and growing the company’s equities trading business.

“I have been a customer and trusted partner of Cboe’s equities business for many years,” said Inzirillo. “With its product innovation, cutting-edge technology, and seamless trading solutions, I believe Cboe is uniquely positioned to provide long-term industry leadership and transform the U.S. equity markets.

Experienced hands

Cboe’s newest employee has an array of experience in the financial markets.

Prior to making the move to Cboe, Inzirillo was head of order routing and execution products at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) for almost a decade.

Before moving to BAML, he was a managing director and head of broker dealer business development with Swiss banking firm UBS Securities.

Inzirillo also held senior roles at Knight Capital Group and SG Cowen.

“Adam has a long and proven track record in building successful equities trading businesses,” said Bryan Harkins, EVP, co-head of markets division at Cboe. “He is passionate about our markets and can leverage his extensive industry relationships in support of our strategic growth efforts.
