BNY Mellon Names Roman Regelman as Senior Executive VP and Head of Digital

BNY Mellon, a US worldwide banking and financial services company, announced on Wednesday that it has appointed global business transformation expert, Roman Regelman, to a new position of Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Digital. He will also be joining the firm’s executive committee - BNY Mellon’s most senior governing body.

Regelman’s new role will be effective from September 17, 2018. His responsibilities will include building a new global team across the bank by attracting top digital talent. For the firm, Regelman will be in charge of setting the strategic direction for its digital future.

He will also work on investing in client and internal digital capabilities, such as data management, Analytics Analytics Analytics may be defined as the detection, analysis, and relay of consequential patterns in data. Regelman’s impressive resume

Regelman joins BNY Mellon with an impressive resume, bringing more than 25 years of experience in digital, operations and management consulting. He has been integral in the launch of several fintechs.

His most recent position was Partner and Managing Director at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) for around six years. Here he co-lead the firm’s Financial Institutions Digital business. During his career, he has also held positions at PwC, Mitchell Madison Group and a range of other senior positions in financial and Fintech Fintech Financial Technology (fintech) is defined as ay technology that is geared towards automating and enhancing the delivery and application of financial services.
