The Abu Dhabi-based firm has also bolstered its specialist legal team, securing the expertise of Hannah Chow, who served earlier in her career as Legal Counsel at CNBC and also worked on secondments at Standard Chartered Bank and Goldman Sachs. She joins ADSS from the Singapore’s subsidiary of New York-based legal frim Axiom where she served as a consultant for more than three years.

Finally, ADSS has poached senior corporate lawyer Yousef Abu Sabah who holds a BA in law and masters degrees in Arbitration and International Corporate Finance Law.

The past year has seen ADSS consistently focus on new markets, culminating in an emphasis on retail, new cryptocurrencies on offer, as well as subsidiaries.

Commenting on the new appointment, Oliver Hallsworth, Managing Director of Legal & Compliance, said: “We continue to support the new sectors of the business by employing the best individuals, with the expertise required, to ensure our governance and compliance is aligned with the changing regulatory and legislative environment. Christopher, Hannah and Yousef bring a range of skills and experience which will be essential as we move forward.”
