ACY Securities, a multi-asset broker based in Australia, announced this Friday that it has expanded its senior leadership by appointing Ashraf Sherif as Head of Egypt and Ahmed Fahim as Head of Saudi Arabia.
The new regional appointments are part of the Sydney-headquartered company’s Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region growth and expansion plan, according to Alla Darwish, Head of Global Brokerage at the broker.

Sherif, who is also the Founder and CEO of foreign exchange (forex) trading advisory firm, ForexAraby, joins the broker with more than a decades worth of experience in the global financial markets. During his career, he has specialised in providing FX and CFD resources to clients.

Commenting on his appointment as Head of Egypt, Sherif said in the statement: “Well established ASIC regulated brokers with a solid track record, such as ACY Securities, are highly preferred by Middle Eastern traders, and I am delighted to lead the operation for ACY Securities in Egypt.”
The new Head of Saudi Arabia at the FX broker, Fahim, on the other hand, is also a General Manager of ForexAraby in Riyadh. His career in the trading space also spans back a decade, having held roles at GFC Markets, AFX Capital and more, according to his LinkedIn profile. He has been with ForexAraby since 2016, his profile shows.
