Mizuho Adds Two Co-Heads to its Structured Solutions Business
- In their new roles as co-Heads of Structured Solutions, both Mr. Feachem and Martorell will be focusing on Mizuho’s Fixed Income business
Mizuho International plc, the UK-based securities and investment banking arm of the Mizuho Financial Group, Inc., has appointed Andrew Feachem and Juan Carlos Martorell to the respective positions of Managing Director and joint co-Heads of Structured Solutions, according to a Mizuho statement.
In their new roles as Managing Director and co-Heads of Structured Solutions, both Mr. Feachem and Mr. Martorell will be focusing on Mizuho’s Fixed Income business. They will also be responsible for developing the (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) EMEA Structured Solutions business, helping Leverage Leverage In financial trading, leverage is a loan supplied by a broker, which facilitates a trader in being able to control a relatively large amount of money with a significantly lesser initial investment. The appointment follows just one month after Mizuho Securities USA, the US investment subsidiary of Mizuho Financial Group (NYSE: MFG), brought in Eric Shenker as the group’s Managing Director and Head of US Equity Trading.
