JFD Brokers Hires Yossi Gafni as VP of Sales, Signalling Second Act

JFD Brokers has appointed 20-year industry veteran Yossi Gafni as its new Vice President of Sales. Arriving just four months after the firm sold a massive chunk of its European client and partner network to GBE Brokers, the high-profile hire strongly signals a strategic reboot for the multi-asset brokerage.

In April, JFD executed a major asset deal transferring its core European book to GBE Brokers. Rather than winding down operations, JFD is actively restaffing its leadership team.

Momentum for a Second Act

Gafni brings deep operational expertise to this rebuild. He served as Head of Sales for AvaTrade (then AvaFX) from 2005 to 2008, followed by a six-year tenure as VP of Sales at FXCM.

After subsequent leadership stints at Anyoption and EuropeFX, his career recently pivoted toward emerging markets and trading technology.

Most recently serving as CEO of turnkey prop and brokerage tech provider Wintrado, which might signal that the broker is looking to explore tech-side experience for a prop trading or hybrid model.

This aggressive restructuring is further evidenced by the broker’s recent hiring of Antonis Monogios as Head of Dealing just last month. He previously served as Naga's Head of Dealing.

By filling two critical director-level seats in rapid succession, JFD Brokers, which still maintains a CySEC license, appears to be actively laying the groundwork for a highly calculated second act.
