Vasilis Sotiriou announced today (Tuesday) on LinkedIn that he has begun a new role as Global Head of Risk at IC Markets.

Risk Executive Joins IC Markets

Before this, he worked at 26 Degrees in Cyprus, where his most recent position was Chief Risk Officer for the EMEA region. Prior to that, he served as Head of Risk Management at 26 Degrees for three years.

Previously, Sotiriou worked at IC Markets, where he held roles including Group Risk Manager for about 1 year and Senior Dealer for about 2 years.

Earlier in his career, he was Chief Risk Officer at a Cyprus investment firm for less than a year.

Meanwhile, Ben Singleton has taken on a new role as General Manager at IC Markets, as reported by Finance Magnates.

Prior to this, Singleton worked at Crédit Agricole CIB for 17 years and 3 months, based in Hong Kong. He held the position of Executive Director, where he was responsible for overseeing the performance of the G10 FX Trading, including spot, swaps, precious metals, and e-FX/Algo trading businesses in Asia. His responsibilities also included market making and trade execution.

TipRanks Tools Now Available at IC Markets

IC Markets clients now have access to TipRanks' enhanced analytical tools. The FX/CFDs broker announced the integration of TipRanks' research tools, offering insights into stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds.

This collaboration provides IC Markets clients with tools to track market sentiment, analytical ratings, and trending investments. The News Sentiment tool analyzes headlines from over 130 financial websites, while the Hedge Funds Activity tool tracks changes in large institutional portfolios.

TipRanks CEO Uri Gruenbaum noted that the tools would improve the user experience by providing access to analyst ratings and stock recommendations. TipRanks recently expanded its reach with a partnership with TBC Capital in Georgia.
