Eightcap Elevates Ollie Rosewell from Commercial Director to CEO of Its UK Entity

Eightcap has appointed Ollie Rosewell as the Chief Executive Officer of its UK entity. Rosewell announced the news on LinkedIn, saying: “Proud to share that I’m now the CEO for Eightcap UK. Looking forward to leading our UK entity.”

Before taking up the CEO role, Rosewell worked as Eightcap’s Commercial Director for about one and a half years, focusing on building new strategic and technology partnerships for the group. Prior to that, he served as Chief Marketing Officer for nearly five years, overseeing the company’s global marketing activities from its London office.

Earlier Roles Across Multiple Financial Trading Firms

Rosewell has worked in the financial services and trading industry for about two decades. Before joining Eightcap, he was Head of Marketing at ETX Capital for over two years, leading brand positioning and CRM initiatives. He also held senior marketing roles at AFX Group and London Capital Group, where he managed brand development and client engagement strategies.

Seven Years of Marketing Leadership Experience at IG

Earlier in his career, Rosewell spent about seven years at IG in London. He began as Online Marketing Manager and progressed to Senior Marketing Manager, where he led teams delivering brand and acquisition campaigns for the FTSE 250-listed broker.

Recent Executive Changes at Eightcap

Recently, Eightcap has undergone several executive changes. Alex Howard, who joined the firm as CEO in early 2023, has left the company. According to his LinkedIn profile, he later served as Managing Director of Regulated Markets before departing from the broker’s Melbourne office.

In another move, Neil Emmerson has joined Eightcap as Head of UK Trading Risk. He previously spent more than a decade at CMC Markets, most recently as Quant Trading Manager on the Indices, Commodities, and Cryptocurrency Desk, overseeing risk and revenue across multiple asset classes.

Additionally, Eightcap appointed Michael Clifton-Jones as Group Chief Commercial Officer, in what appears to be an internal promotion.
