- The move comes two months after the exchange launched spot trading in cryptocurrencies

Institutional cryptocurrency exchange operator Seed CX announced the launch of several new currency pairs this Tuesday.
“We’re very excited to have started live trading of BCH and LTC,” said Edward Woodford, co-founder and CEO of Seed CX.
“we’ll continue to offer more digital asset pairs in the coming months, giving institutional investors the ability to trade a variety of assets on an exchange that provides the market safeguards and technological infrastructure they demand.”

The company claims that it is the first and only cryptocurrency exchange to offer an institutional-only setting for companies to trade digital assets.
Alongside its exchange, the firm also offers an on-exchange wallet to companies using its services.
Though Seed CX has been targeting institutional clients since its inception in 2016, there is a wider movement underway in the world of cryptocurrency to bring companies into the fray.
The reason for this is that retail traders, who drove much of the hype surrounding digital assets towards the end of 2018, have steadily drifted away from the market.
