His appointment comes after a lengthy career in the sector, including his most recent stint at the New York Power Authority (NYPA). In this role he mostly focused on corporate financial management, included identifying, evaluating, structuring, and supporting the implementation of authority initiatives.

According to Viswanadha in a recent statement on the appointment: “With Jerry’s appointment we will expand into advising on debt and equity capital raising and other strategic advisory services in this sector in North America, reflecting the evolution of our advisory practice globally.”

“With over 18 years of experience, Jerry brings an extraordinarily deep understanding of the power sector with differentiating perspectives of the various stakeholders that will enrich our client engagement,” Viswanadha added.

The appointment is the second this month at Credit Agricole, after the French bank on-boarded FX sales executive Lauren Kiley, who joined after spending 9 years at Morgan Stanley.
