The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) has added five new binary options brokerages to its already extensive blacklist. The French regulatory body has stated that these binary options trading firms are not authorized to market their services to clients via phone calls or emails. Lists of unauthorized websites appear on the AMF website, as well as on the Insurance Savings Info Service - ABE IS website. If an individual or company is not registered on any list, the French regulatory authority maintains that clients should not trade with them.

For this past year or so, France has been running a tight ship when it comes to the marketing of online trading, although it has not banned the practice of investing in itself. This has made the country known for its strict treatment of online trading firms.

This is the second day in a row that the AMF has added a number of unauthorized trading firms to its blacklist. On Wednesday, the authority added more firms, including the brands MT4 Invest, GSS Financial X90, PROMFX, and Boom Forex .

Additionally, the French regulator blacklisted ten unauthorized brokers in March this year. This round included brands such as Agenda Invest, Financial Futures Ltd, GMSA investments, Group Investment, Market Options, Swiss XM, and more.
